Roger Moore

Roger Moore has recently released his autobiography, My Word is My Bond, and is going to be reading it live on BBC Radio 2, starting Friday, 24th April.

The event is supposed to tie in with the upcoming paperback release. Unfortunately it will be in 15 minute sections, over 6 weeks. Luckily though, each segment will be accessible online the day after it airs, at Radio 2 Online.

I haven't read Roger's autobiography yet, but I've read another biography by Gareth Owen, who co-wrote My Word is My Bond. Should be interesting to listen to his readings online.

Director Marc Forster Discusses Quantum of Solace

Director Marc Forster

With the upcoming DVD and Blu-ray release of Quantum Of Solace, Director Marc Forester attended a pre-screening of the HQ movie, and had an interesting and in-depth question and answer session.

Marc discussed his history with James Bond, as well as how a lot of the scenes and the title came about. He discusses his like and dislikes and favorite scenes and gives a great view into his work directing the film.

Surprisingly, although Forster is a self confessed Bond fan, he didn't want to make the film at first, wanting to do something less commercial. It was actually a meeting with Daniel Craig that changed his mind. Marc said that "he comes from a similar background that I do, he comes from independent film, we have similar sensibilities".

Roger Moore Answers Your Questions for February

Roger Moore

Every month Roger Moore takes questions on his website from his fans across the world, and posts answers at the end of each month. It's always nice when an actor reaches out to his fans like this, so I thought I'd post about it for those not aware of it already.

In his latest Q&A session, Roger discusses his hang glider stunts from Live and Let Die, his work with UNICEF, as well as some points from his autobiography, tales of the Oscars, and more.

Roger still has a great sense of humor, and he always puts some life into his answers. They are well worth reading, and he accepts new questions every month. You can view the February Answers online, or visit the Home page for more info on questions for March.
